What is the difference between Mums Who Move and MumFIT?
Mums Who Move is for ladies who have not exercised for a while or are starting their fitness journey after having children. MumFIT is a progression from mums who move or if you already have an intermediate level of fitness.
I am not very fit and haven’t exercised before, will I be able to do the programme?
Yes definitely! The programme is designed to cater for all levels of fitness, the programme starts slow and is progressive, getting slightly harder each week. We will coach you through every move to ensure you are moving safely and effectively, modifications will be provided if required.
I have a 2 year old, can I bring them?
Yes you can, older children are welcome to attend.
When can I start?
To start Mums Who Move the recommended guidance is at least 6 weeks after a vaginal birth and 10 weeks after a caesarean.
What happens if I miss a class?
You are welcome to try and make up the class by attending another time slot or location, however this is number dependent and not always possible.
What happens if I need to stop and feed my baby?
Do it! It’s not a problem, just join back in once you have finished.
What if my baby is unsettled in class?
It’s normal for little ones to cry and be unsettled at some point, usually we find they settle in and enjoy watching all the movement, instructors are always happy to lend a hand so you can get the most out of your workout.
What do I need to bring to class?
You need to bring your own exercise mat and anything you need for little ones, buggies, car seats, play mats, snacks, toys are all welcome.
What payment methods are available?
Full six week payment is required in advance to secure your space. We currently take payment via our website using Stripe.
